The scouting party crept through the gloom of the forest floor. Their purpose; to explore this new world that they would make theirs and to take stock of any other sentient life that would need to be eliminated. abruptly they came to a point where land gave way to water. They could go no further on the ground. Suddenly the seemingly peaceful water erupted in a blinding spray.

As soon as the attack began it was finished. The party had met it's first sentients. Unfortunately there was no one left to tell about it.
