The Cure R3: Remembrance 4

This is the part where all of the story crystallizes on the tittle theme. Oakley is faced with his own reflection, and fully realizes what he's becoming. Joey sees his own past reflected in Oakley's despair, and helps the only way he can. (short of killing him.)

Unfortunately you CANNOT stop the zombie virus with willpower alone, however it is what kept Joey fighting for control far longer than usual, and kept his ghost fighting long after he was dead. Joey still tries to help because Oakley's virus isn't backed up by a curse, and anyway he's just trying to keep his sanity rather than stop the change.

It's irrelevant to this part of the story, but if you think the silhouette in his memory looks familiar, that's because she is. Sometimes irrational fears, are born of rational reasons.

In conclusion, Joey is bleeding, the monsters are hungry, Oakley is a sickness, and WE STILL DON"T FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS ROUND"S FIRST PAGE!!!

Oh I hope I win. I've already got the next part inked and I've got to tell you guy's it's TO DIE FOR!!! No pun intended.
